The purpose of the Oregon Boxer Club
is to promote, maintain, and encourage the quality breeding of
the purebred Boxer and to make every effort to develop their
natural and working qualities to standard perfection. To urge members, breeders, and
exhibitors to accept the standard of the breed as approved by
the American Kennel Club and the American Boxer Club as the only
standards of excellence by which the Boxer shall be judged.
To maintain, support, and conduct dog shows and obedience
trials, including licensed specialty shows, under the rules of
the American Kennel Club, and to do all in it's power to protect
and advance the interest of the breed by encouraging
sportsmanlike competition at said shows and obedience trials.
To initiate educational programs and activities which will
stimulate and extend public interest in the Boxer.
For members of the Oregon Boxer Club to abide by those portions
of the American Boxer Club By-Laws and Code of Ethics which are
applicable to members of member clubs. |
